Our Home

Our home is on a cul-de-sac in a quiet neighborhood of North Royalton. The wooded backyard has a brick path and a small pond that our nieces and nephews love to explore. A little bridge goes over the pond we call the Prom Bridge. This bridge is where Thomas & Andrew (and Joe) have taken photos with friends for formal dances. We enjoy sitting on the large deck, where we often cook out and dine when the weather is nice.

Joe was born in this home, and when we bought it in 2016, we started updating it, which has been fun. We have a large family room with a fireplace that serves as the home’s focal point. One of our favorite features is our projector and a big screen where we watch movies. Thomas and Andrew often have friends over for movie night which is a big hit! We love having a fire and listening to music when the weather gets cold.

This kitchen is the heart of the home where Joe and I love cooking new recipes together. We even make homemade jellies and bread that we love to share with others. It has become a tradition to have our nieces over to make pierogi every spring.

We love hosting Christmas for our large family every year. Joe even built a beautiful wood table that seats 15, so we are all together.

I love gardening and plants, so when Covid hit, Joe turned our den into a plant room!!! I am obsessed with begonias and philodendrons (so is Thomas. he comes over once a week to tend to some unique plants there). It’s a great space to relax and feel at peace.
